Cecil Tree Service, LLC was established in 1958 by Jerry Cox Sr. on the principles of honesty, integrity, respect and customer satisfaction. His decision in taking on the name of Cecil County as part of his business made him responsible in using the name with respect. This he demonstrated by providing quality workmanship at the highest level possible throughout the community.

These same principles on which Cecil Tree Service were founded remain today. It is our goal to provide the highest quality workmanship while treating our customers the way we would want to be treated. All of this allows our company to continue to grow in reputation and clients.

Jerry’s son, Jerry Jr., starting working with him during the summers at age 11 and came into the company full time in 1974. Father and son worked side by side with the same goals and values for 37 years.

In 2008, Jeremy, the son of Jerry Jr., joined the company as a full time employee. Cecil Tree Service had three generations working together till the retirement of Jerry Sr. in 2011.

Our statements and goals are who we still are today. We are a Christian, family-owned and operated business. We believe in representing our beliefs through the life we live and the services we provide. God is a priority in our lives and we thank him for what the business has become today.
